Bollywood actress Dia Mirza is going to join the bandwagon of actor turned producer. She debuted with the movie ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’ in 2001 opposite Madhavan and became a star overnight, although the movie did not do well at the box office.

The actress confirmed about turning producer very soon. She said that the announcement may come out by next week as she would have locked her script by then.

Dia might be seen playing the role in her production venture opposite Zayed Khan. The actress is interested in making biopics. She said that the real life stories inspire her and the personalities that attract her are Bharat Natyam dancer Rukmani Devi, painter Amrita Shergill and freedom fighter Sarojini Naidu.

One of her much waited films titled ‘Johnny Mastana’ has been waiting to be released for a year. The 28 year old actress is hoping the movie releases soon so that it can silence the people who say that it has been stalled.

The actress said that the viewers can see her best performance till date in ‘Johnny Mastana’. She also added that the only reason of the delay is due to the tussle of rights between Twentieth Century Fox and UTV.

Well, even though the actress could not offer any successful movie in last three years, audience can give her a chance to show her production skills. May be she turns out to be a lucky producer for her film!

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is the latest celebrity

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is the latest celebrity to join the wax figure A-listers at Madame Tussauds.The actor is positioned in front of the Taj Mahal amid a dance troupe, making guests feel like they are on the set of a Bollywood film.

Khan fans have been turning out en masse to the New York location to get a peek of their favourite Bollywood star and pose for photos with his likeness.

“He’s one of the biggest icons in India and people worship him, literally,” said Sonny Joseph, a member of the dance Bollywood dance troupe.

“Him being here in New York, I wish he came personally, but it’s big enough that his statue is just there and he looks really amazing. They did a good job, they did a really good job with the statue.”Khan has starred in more than 50 films throughout his career and was named one of Newsweek’s ‘50 Most Powerful People in the World’ in 2008.

Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor are having a good time together in London

Rumors are doing the rounds that Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif and actor Ranbir Kapoor are having a good time together in London. The duo hasn’t confirmed anything about their supposed relationship.

It has been reported that Katrina went to London, after shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s next ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’. She was there to meet her family, but coincidently, Ranbir was also in London for an ad shoot.According to a source having knowledge of the matter said, “There have been rumors about Ranbir and Katrina for some time now. Both of them have denied any possibility of a relationship so far and on earlier occasions too both have denied being with each other overseas”.

But, since both the stars were in the same city, so it is likely that the two might have met and spent some time together.The duo was spotted together, sometime back in Bandra in suburban Mumbai, also. And earlier to this, Katrina had reportedly flown to New York to meet Ranbir, who was shooting for Anjaana Anjaani at that time.
